4-7-8 Breathing

The technique is called 4-7-8 Breathing, It is a simple way to fall asleep naturally, relieve anxiety and calm yourself in a matter of minutes. Thank you Dr. Weil for making this so popular.

1. Breathe in through your nose for a count of 4.
2. Hold your breath for a count of 7.
3. Exhale with your tongue touching the roof of your mouth behind your front teeth for a count of 8.
4. Repeat the entire technique 3-4 times in a row, then resume normal breathing.
